MANAGEMENT TEAM

Collectively, the Southeast Frozen Foods management team possesses more than 190 years of experience at food distributors. Our team is knowledgeable in all aspects of the wholesale, distribution and transportation disciplines. This experience coupled with staying abreast of cutting-edge technologies in our field, and our unique purchasing strategies allows us to stay ahead of the curve and our competition. Our team works within a simple cost model and a customized service approach.

 

Rich Bauer
President and Chief Executive Officer
Rich BauerRich Bauer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Frozen Foods since 2006. Mr. Bauer has been with the company since 1993 and for the last four years was Chief Operating Officer. Previously he held various financial executive posts within and outside the company..

Prior to coming to Southeast, Mr. Bauer spent several years working in financial accounting, primarily for Ernst & Young. Mr. Bauer holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has lived in South Florida for over 30 years.


Marc Goodman
Chief Financial Officer
Marc GoodmanMr. Goodman joined Southeast Frozen Foods as Chief Financial Officer in 2005.

Marc comes to Southeast from KPMG, where he was Managing Partner of the Ft. Lauderdale office and Assurance Partner of the South Florida Business Unit. Marc possesses more than 20 years of experience serving the manufacturing, transportation, distribution, retail and financial services industries. He brings extensive experience in managing mergers and acquisitions. Marc holds a BS Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a member of AICPA and FICPA.


Tony Palacios
General Manager of Southeast Wholesale Foods
Tony PalaciosMr. Palacios joined our company in 2006. Tony came from International Alliance, Inc. He brings over 35 years experience in the food Industry, his previous experience includes 15 year of store director for Pantry Pride — Food Fair, over 20 years with Malone & Hyde and Fleming were he held various management positions in the Domestic and Export Department, he holds a BBA in Accounting from Florida International University.

Bob Dernbach
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Bob Dernbach Bob Dernbach joined the company in 2006. Bob was formerly with Nash Finch Company, where he held a variety of positions including Vice President of Procurement, Merchandising and Marketing and Vice President of Sales. He has 31 years experience in grocery retail, food distribution and manufacturing. Bob has a BS in Marketing and a Masters degree in Supply Chain from Wright State University.

Timothy Martis
Vice President, Procurement
Timothy MartisTimothy Martis joined Southeast Frozen Foods as Vice President of Procurement in 1991. Before coming to Southeast, Mr. Martis held several positions at Loblaw Companies Ltd., as well as at Hickman, Coward and Wattles, Inc., and the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. He brings more than 35 years of experience to his present role. Mr. Martis has a B.S. in Industrial Technology from State University College in Buffalo, NY.

Danny Payne
Vice President, Warehouse Operations
Danny PayneDanny Payne has served as Southeast Frozen Foods' Vice President of Warehouse Operations since 2003. Mr. Payne joined Southeast in 2000 as an Operations Manager, then became Director of Warehouse Operations in 2001. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Payne came to Southeast from Food Lion Supermarkets. Mr. Payne studied business management at Orangeburg Technical College, in Orangeburg, SC.

Raymond Zentko
Vice President, Transportation
Raymond Zentko Raymond Zentko joined Southeast Frozen Foods as Vice President of Transportation in 1983, bringing with him over 35 years of experience in various transportation and logistic roles from Grocers Supply, Sysco and Kroger. Mr. Zentko attended Prince George Community College in Largo, MD.

Paul Carr
Director of Information Technology
Paul Carr joined Southeast Food Distribution in 2006, bringing with him 21 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Before joining Southeast, Mr. Carr held positions in information technology with Fiserv and EDS. Mr. Carr studied Business Management at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.

Sharon Madden
Director of Human Resources
Sharon Madden Sharon Madden joined Southeast Food Distribution as our Director of Human Resources in 2009. Sharon has 20 years experience in the Human Resources field and 10 years at the senior level. Previously, she worked for a Fortune 500 company executing leadership development, coaching, and organizational design. She holds a Master Degree in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University.
