Rich Bauer Named Head of Southeast Frozen Foods Company, LP
Richard A. Bauer has been named President/CEO of Southeast Frozen Foods Company, L.P. The move follows the untimely death, May 20, of longtime Southeast Frozen Foods President and CEO, John Robinson. As CEO of Southeast Frozen Foods, Bauer has been named to head the large regional food distribution company along with its related subsidiaries; Southeast Wholesale Foods, Medley, FL, a regional food wholesale distributor, and Atlantic Cold Storage, a major player in frozen food warehousing and third party logistics.

In a move that will solidify Southeast Frozen Foods and Southeast Wholesale's already strong position in wholesale and frozen food distribution in South Florida, Southeast announced today the hiring of Antonio Antelo as the company's new Distribution Operations Manager. Antelo will be responsible for Southeast Wholesale's new state-of-the-art facility in Medley, Florida and Southeast Frozen's warehouse in North Miami.

During the post-hurricane blackout, Southeast provided refrigerated trucks to Florida supermarkets. Thousands of dollars of perishable foods were saved by these efforts.
February, 2004
Southeast Wholesale Foods launched.
After more than 40 years in the frozen food business, Southeast Frozen
Foods has extended into dry groceries with the launch of Southeast
Wholesale Foods. Goods will be shipped from an ultra-modern
distribution center conveniently located right off the Florida
Turnpike Extension in southern Florida. This warehouse will distribute
to domestic customers and export to the Caribbean.

A 13,000 sq. ft. independent supermarket that opened on October 28 in
Plantation, Florida — representing the combined efforts of longtime
friends and business associates, Franklin Mejia, Rudy Corona and Edwin
Ferrira — turned to Southeast Frozen Foods to be its primary
supplier. Southeast Wholesale Foods worked closely with the men to
help get the new store up and running. “We selected Southeast
Wholesale Foods as our primary supplier because of their high service
levels and reputation,” Corona said.

Presidente and Tropical Supermarkets are among the first food stores in Florida to debut the Hy-Top®
family of store brand products.
The items are distributed by Southeast Wholesale Foods which currently stocks approximately 625 SKU's
consisting of Grocery, Dairy and Frozen items. Hy-Top® has over 2,700 items available, based on customer demands.
